2026 Coastal Virginia Magazine WineFest Recap
The 2026 Coastal Virginia Magazine WineFest transformed the Virginia Beach Convention Center into a premiere destination for oenophiles on February 7–8, offering a comprehensive “Virginia Wine Tour” all under one roof. Celebrating its 12th anniversary, the event remained a cornerstone of the region’s winter social calendar, drawing thousands to sample the best of the Commonwealth.
The festival floor featured over 20 wineries and cideries, including local favorites like Lake Anna Winery, Prince Michel, and Zoll Vineyards.
Beyond the pour, The Distillery Den returned where spirits enthusiasts sampled high-end pours from Catoctin Creek, KO Distilling and Tarnished Truth. The Craft Beer Garden featured a dedicated space for those looking to pivot from the vine to the grain, featuring local brews from Big Ugly Brewing.
Attendees were treated to more than just tastings. The atmosphere was kept lively by the Chris Sacks Band and Colonial DJs, while the specialty vendor area showcased a curated selection of lifestyle goods—ranging from Coastal Woodworks to gourmet treats like Jody’s Gourmet Popcorn. For those seeking a more curated experience, the VIP lounge offered early access and reserved seating, providing a comfortable retreat from the main festival bustle.
As a signature event by Coastal Virginia Magazine, the 2026 Coastal Virginia WineFest successfully bridged the gap between local producers and passionate consumers, solidifying its reputation as the area’s finest winter celebration of Virginian viticulture.
A portion of the proceeds from CoVa WineFest benefitted our 2026 nonprofit partner Samaritan House. Special thanks to our partners Colonial DJs, Premier Events and the VistaCares Foundation.
